Oakshire Estates is nestled in the gorgeous countryside just north of 50 Highway (10 miles south of I-70) on the east side of Z Highway in the northwestern corner of rural Johnson County, Missouri. The neighborhood is in a natural, wooded setting with abundant wildlife, forests, wildflowers, and streams. Four miles of chip and seal roadway within Oakshire provide a nice exercise surface for bikers, joggers, and walkers. Our community is bordered by Powell Gardens, a botanical garden, as well as many rural farms and homes.
Under the direction of Bill Harte - Harte Third LP, Oakshire first began development in the early 1990's and is currently home to over 100 residents.
